The Days Drag On But ,The Years Fly By

<p>&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;We have had 4 birthdays in our house in the past 6 Weeks.   That guy I married was the first of the bunch. He asked for the same thing as he asks for each year....dinner at home. The kids made him banana cream pie  themselves for the first time and it was perfect.&nbsp; <

Next up was Missy Queen Bee big D turning the BIG ten. She, however wanted more than a dinner at home. She wanted a PARTY!!!!of course.  This is just a tiny peek at the day in question because I cant seem to find the other photos. Blurg. Anyways can you guess the theme????

Frozen Yogurt Drops

These were so quick!!! I squeezed these little guys on to a baking pan, then just popped them in the freezer. While We waited, I gave Little Missy Baby D a bath and put her in her jammies. With no other effort we had ourselves  frozen yogurt drops.
We voted they would be good or maybe great with a bowl of berries. They are our new homemade version of those icecream"dots" or whatever. We also voted topped with coconut or tossed with sprinkles would rock our socks.
We only did vanilla because that was what we had in house, but all flavors would keep us happy.

Leftover To Newovers Meat Sauce Pizza

Leftovers to Newover is our families talk for using up leftovers by creating a new meal.

A  bag of leftover tomato~meat sauce (from  lasagna)that was in my freezer was given a new life as a pizza.  I dropped the frozen bag in a pot of boiling water to defrost and whipped up my quick pizza crust. Rolled out the crust, spread with sauce, covered in cheese and back.

My good friend Leyla gave me this recipe for  pizza crust years ago. It works every time. I often add spices and what not but do as you please. This makes one Large pizza. I triple it when I make dough and any leftovers go in the freezer.

Pizza Crust

1tbsp yeast
1/4 tsp salt
1tbsp sugar
1 cup warm water

Mix the above together until foams.

2 cups flour

knead
let stand 15 mins bake @ 400* for 15-17 mins

Leftovers To Newovers Tandoori Chicken Pasta

Somehow  I had leftovers of Tandoori Chicken, strange I know. It was not enough  meat to make a meal,so I tossed a container of grape tomatoes and chopped onion in a pan.  Cooked them down with the chicken for 10 mins making it a bit more saucy . Then stirred in to pasta.
                                         Done and done.

The back right pan is the chicken before it was"leftovers"

and as "Newovers"Tandoori pasta
